Ours was a winter holiday and the peace and quiet of the villages of Ossuccio and Sala Comacina, the time consuming view, the open fire and the entertaining locals made for an outstanding holiday. Our stay was made all the more enjoyable thanks to Francesco’s hospitality (which was well over and above anything we could ever have expected) and his wealth of local knowledge. Take the opportunity to have Caterina come and cook a meal for you, it is an education, a pleasure, and the food is fantastic."
