General

This apartment is on the first floor of a two apartment building on the side of a hill and is reached down steps.  It has fabulous views over the sea and Isola Bella below and there is a path to the water’s edge.  Residents of twelve apartments share the large swimming pool and below to one side is the cable car station which transports visitors up to the town of Taormina.
Comfortable furnishings have been installed and the living room and bedrooms have ceiling fans for added comfort.  The apartment has a sea view balcony and a large terrace for al fresco dining. There is a laundry room on site, payable locally.

Location

For safety, the Greeks founded Taormina on a high plateau on Mount Tauro, BC, and the acropolis  is at the summit.  After its decline, the Byzantines reversed its fortunes, the Arabs destroyed it twice and then the Normans dominated the town in the 13th century. So imagine a slow walk through the town - there is simply so much to see.
