This farmhouse surveys a panoramic landscape, looking out over the valley of Old Father Tiber. It is a classically solid stone construction with thick walls that make for a cool interior in summer and a warm cosy feel at other times of the year. It is about two and a half kilometres from the main road so there is an atmosphere of rural tranquility.
The owner has created a tasteful environment. Inside, the design, fixtures and fittings of this first floor accommodation are of a good quality. The furnished dining area outside also enjoys fine views.
A separate cottage for 2 people, next to the main house, is rented out by the owners.

Location

Trestina is about 9kms away for all essential shopping and there is a public swimming pool at Citta di Castello about 15kms away. Also in Citta di Castello’s fine medieval centre is a weekly market, offering local produce and much more. Lake Trasimeno, with its good beaches and water sports, can be reached in about an hour via scenic countryside. This lake has a maximum depth of 7 metres; its circumference is 45 kms and is surrounded by gentle, rolling hills. Perugia, Assisi and a host of other historical sites are within a reasonable driving distance.
