Cottage Le Casaline rests on the edge of the small Roman hamlet of Messinano and looks onto its quaintness. Within its own enclosed garden it is five hundred metres above sea level with remarkable surrounding vistas. The garden is laid to lawn and trees and apart from a covered, furnished terrace at the entrance of the house, there is a covered and furnished gazebo on the lawn. The swimming pool is open from 1st June to 15th September. The cottage is well furnished, comfortable and an outhouse has a washing machine.
Location
Within about eight hundred metres is a grocery store for immediate shopping. There is also a restaurant within walking distance. From this strategic position it is possible to explore the ancient cities of Umbria with ease. Spoleto, which was a Roman colony is approximately thirteen kilometres distant and held here annually are Europe’s leading arts festivals during June and July. Todi, first Etruscan and then Roman looks down over the Tiber valley about fifteen kilometres away. From the rail station just five kilometres away, Rome centre is reached in about one hour and ten minutes.
