Casa Solagne in San Benedetto del Tronto, Le Marche

Explore the Adriatic From Italian Villas in Le Marche

The Brief

Today we received an email from Jean asking if any of our Italian villas would suit a couple that wanted a base to explore the Riviera of the Palms on the Adriatic coast. She specified a simple property and one that was comfortable, functional and close enough to the attractions in the area.

Our Suggestion

Casa Solagne is one of our Italian villas located in the grounds of the owner’s main villa. It has a lovely pool that is sometimes used by the owners, who also have 2 well-behaved dogs. From the villa’s terrace and outdoor dining area you can enjoy wonderful countryside views while the inside of the villa is comfortable, well appointed and perfect for a couple wanting to use it as a base. Shops are only 4km away where there are also plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars.

This is one of our Italian villas located in the Le Marche region, and close to Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto, it offers the ideal base for exploring the two main resorts in The Palm Riviera, one of the most popular destinations in Italy. Often known as the Pearl of the Adriatic, this area is the perfect combination of lush landscapes and glittering coastline. San Benedetto is a town that was originally built in the 9th century but today has a more tropical, modern look with its palm trees, long sandy beach and promenade. There is plenty to do here and for lovers of swimming, roller-skating, cycling and tennis this is a haven of activity.

Grottamare is a peaceful resort famous for its stunning monuments and ‘blue flag’ beaches. Its charming town centre has a beautiful castle, defensive walls and some fabulous Italian villas that date back to the 18th century when the nobility of Italy began frequenting the area. Today, the area’s art nouveau-style Italian villas are among the most stunning in the country and the town’s gorgeous flowers and trees that decorate its every corner attract visitors from all over.
