Villa Don Guido in Limite sull'Arno, Tuscany by Cottages to Castles

Villas in Tuscany Perfect for Corporate Groups

The Brief

We have several villas in Tuscany ideal for corporate groups, so when David called us to ask if we had anything suitable for his team of investment bankers, we were happy to advise. He requested that the villa has the feel of a country retreat but also has the advantage of being close enough to a city for day trips.

Our Suggestion

We have the perfect solution for David in our Villa Don Guido, one of our most stylish, comfortable and elegant villas in Tuscany and only 25km away from the magnificent city of Florence. Despite its proximity to the city, the villa feels a world away, set high on a hilltop and nestled into its own grounds that are decorated with pines, cypresses and fir trees. Rooms are typically grand, boasting high ceilings and stunning chandeliers while the furniture and other fixtures are all original and exude a classic Italian charm.

This villa is in the perfect location for those yearning for a touch of Italian culture combined with days spent away from it all hidden in the rolling hills of Tuscany. The beautiful illuminated pool is the ideal for a morning swim, the grounds are made for al fresco dining, and there is even a tennis court for those wanting to burn off some energy. The River Arno, running to the villa, runs through Florence as well as though the closest town, known as Limite sull’Arno.

Florence, the famous city of Michelangelo, is a fabulous place bursting with Renaissance architecture, wonderful museums, a stunning cathedral and fantastic restaurants. Take a walk along the river or head up to Piazza Michelangelo for picture postcard views of the city, the Pont Vechio and the Uffizi gallery.

Closer to the villa is the pretty town of Vinci, another hill top gem well known because it is the hometown of Leonardo da Vinci. His birthplace is close to the town and there are three museums dedicated to his work. It is well worth a visit.
