Air Travel - Consumer Protection
The air holidays and flights in this brochure are ATOL protected,
since we hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence granted by the
Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 5328. In the unlikely
event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not
stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have
paid to us for an advance booking. For further information, visit
the ATOL website www.atol.org.uk. Travelling to Croatia is simplicity itself.
Note: Croatia is not yet a member state of the EC. As such, hire
cars with non-Croatian registration numbers are not normally
covered by insurance and are therefore not permitted to enter.
However we have made special arrangements with Europcar so
that their cars can be hired in Italy. Thanks to this, clients can
collect their hire cars from an Italian airport and drive directly to
our vacation homes in Croatia without any problems. However, we do not recommend
driving to Dalmatia.

By Car
Why not enjoy the freedom and convenience of taking
your own car to our vacation homes in Croatia via Dover/Calais by P&O luxury ferry or fast,
frequent Eurotunnel? Istria is closer than you think:
Calais to Istria is about 935 miles via fast motorways, virtually to
the Istrian border. Hence, with no possibly problematic Alpine
passes to cross, it is quick and easy to reach Istria by car within
about 12 hours (non-stop at current motorway speed limits in the
relevant countries), and you have the added convenience of your
own vehicle. We do not recommend driving to Dalmatia from the UK.
P & O Ferries
Their luxury super-ferries offer all classes of onboard eating and
money-saving shopping facilities, and their surprisingly speedy 75
minute crossings mean that you are abroad in no time at all. Over
30 crossings a day, in the high season, ensure you have a huge
range of departures to suit your driving itinerary.

Eurotunnel
Now the quickest and most convenient way of crossing the Channel.
Light, bright, spacious, clean and very, very fast. Those who have
used it wouldn't now travel any other way because the whole system
is so user friendly. For an extra cost, we can upgrade you to
Club Class which gives you the benefits of:

Overnight stops and hotels
To make your journey easier to our vacation homes in Croatia, we can arrange accommodation en route, in a large
selections of towns and villages in France, Belgium, Switzerland and northern Europe, through our colleagues at Campanile and Kyriad Hotels.
All rooms are guaranteed for late arrivals. Motel style accommodation near motorways offer secure parking.
