June 2015 "...Loved Villa Puglisi! Hosts were warm and gracious and accommodations were amazing. The only snag was the bath/shower. Extremely limited hot water and no shower curtain to contain water. Worried that water will eventually seep through floor in bathroom to owner's residence causing unnecessary repairs. Other than that, would highly recommend! Thanks. "

May 2013 "...The Puglisi Villa and Cottage were exactly what we required - spacious, clean and plenty of room for the children to run about without disturbing other holiday makers. The hosts were very helpful particularly as we don't speak any Italian. The rooms were large and well furnished as were the kitchens. We would certainly recommend Villa Puglisi for a large family holiday at a reasonable price. Our one difficulty was finding the Villa - even using a satnav in a local car - Via Terre Morte was not listed. However some locals from a nearby pub were able to direct us. "

September 2012 "...My wfe & I , and our daughter from Australia were delighted with the accommadation & situation of Puglisi Cottage. Being off the tourist track suited us very well, albeit it was rather short on nearby places to eat but we did find the Boccaperta Ristorante in Via Umberto at Linguaglossa. On purely administrative matters, we thought the property would benefit with a brief local write-up. For instance, mentioning Park Lumbi at Taormina & catching the shuttle bus into the town. There were a few cooking items that could usefully be provided, such as scissors, chopping knife. The kettle leaks & needs replacement, perhaps a hairdrier & spare light bulbs could be provided. We were in ignorant on the emptying of bottle, household waste & paper containers that became overloaded by the end of our stay but the overflow seemed to be acknowledged as normal. We established an entertaining rapport with the owners despite our inability to be fluent to the extent they showed us around the Villa; what a fantastic experience that was. If we left anything behind, we hope it was only a good impression."

September 2012 "...A lovely villa with lots of room. The pool was great and we never saw anybody else in it. Noisy neighbourhood dogs were a bit of a nuisance during the night and traffic on the road started very early."

July 2012 "...he overall feeling about the accomodation is that it was very good, with lots of room, good facilities, a good big pool, lots of space in the grounds. The owners were very helpful, friendly and charming, although they spoke no english (and why should they?). We did not feel that we intruded on them, nor did they on us. Although their extended family used the pool, it was rarely at times when we wanted to use it, and the children were charming. Some suggested improvements: generally more crockery and cutlery, specifically more mugs (there were only 2, and we left 2 more) (there is a large dish-washer, but it was running only half-full most of the time); a proper sharp bread-knife, a non-leaking kettle, a large chopping-board. The TV did not seem to receive many channels, but not a problem for us. I would like to record our thanks to Tony Lawson. We had minor delays on the way out to Sicily which he dealt with effectively. When two of us lost our pasports he went out of his way to assist, dealing with the bus companies lost proerty office and making a special trip to the locations where we thought we had lost them. It was very reassuring to be able to explain situations in english to him, and know that he would do his best to help. Please pass on our thanks. Another related suggestion: installation of a small safe of some sort. We wouldn’t have had our passports with us if there was somewhere secure we could have left them. None of the above represent complaints, we thoroughly enjoyed the accomodation, and would happily recommend it to other people. "

July 2011 "... We had a fabulous time at Puglisi Cottage. The accomodation was perfect: spacious and well equipped. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could wish for, which is rare in rented accomodation. The beds were all very comfortable. We loved the balconies and made great use of the one outside the living room. We had fabulous views of Mount Etna which erupted twice during our stay. The swimming pool was a great treat, a super length for swimming and beautifully planted roundabout. The owners were very friendly and although we did not speak a work of each other’s language we seemed to communicate impotant things. The only problem that we encountered was that the toilet in the bathroom did not flush and so we made do with a bucket in the bath for flushing. However, goven all the amazing positive features of tthe accomodation we did not mind. Best wishes,"
