This classic roadside building is divided into two: Il Capanno forms the first floor accommodation and La Speranzella the ground floor. Both apartments are owned by separate groups of architects who have gutted the interiors and stamped their own stylish expertise on each. They can be rented separately, or together, for two parties of clients.
Il Capanno’s independent entrance is on the first floor and it has its own small furnished garden. The living area is wonderfully spacious - four windows (with seats) provide this room’s swaying dapplied light via the trees outside - thickly beamed, the stylish modern kitchen is behind the open fireplace.

Location

Ten kilometres away is Anghiari, a fine old town located on a balcony over the Valtiberina, or Tiber valley. So picturesque that Leonardo da Vinci chose it as his subject matter for The Battle of the Frescoes in Florence’s Palazzo Vecchio. This big town is the area’s centre for all types of shops, bars and restaurants.
