July 2015 "...Pretty much everything was fine - the owner was super friendly and helpful - even driving me around the village to see doctors & get meds when I got an ear infection. "

July 2013 "...Happy to give you feedback: Our experience at Cassa Brilli was wonderful. The welcome from the Brilli family was so friendly and they were exceptionally attentive and generous when they visited each day to tend to their allotment. The villa was very well stocked and there was more than enough linen and towels etc., The pool was amazing for a villa pool, very large and the garden area and patio area were just great. My only slight negative feedback would be that the bed in the downstairs room (which I presumed was a sofa bed), was incredibly uncomfortable and having planned a two week stay we ended up sleeping on li lo’s as the bed was just too uncomfortable. The directions to the villa could be made simpler and clearer as after a very long drive we spent an hour driving around the villages trying to locate the villa, I would perhaps say: As you pass through Brollio you will come to a roundabout, Take the second exit and then take the first lane on the left past the refuse skip, make your way to the end of the lane and Casa Brilli is on your left.?? We had the most relaxed holiday EVER! I would highly recommend this accommodation for a family of four (six if a more comfortable bed was available) "

August 2012 "...Casa Brilli is in an excellent location. It’s a little off the beaten track, and away from many of the well know parts of Tuscany, but this was ideal for us as we have visited Tuscany a number of times so were looking for something a bit different. The villa itself was well equipped, comfortable and very spacious. Having a pool all to ourselves was an absolute cherry on the cake. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful – they even made us gifts of wine and fruit. The area does not seem to have many British tourists so you have to enter the spirit and be prepared to engage in a little Italian – but it’s well worth it and the restaurants and shops are all really friendly. Nearby Cortona is well worth a visit. Two things to think about when planning the visit.. firstly the directions are not accurate – I eventually located it on Google Maps using the pool! Secondly, when arriving on a Saturday afternoon, make sure you’ve got enough groceries to cover the first couple of days. Most places are closed on Sunday, although the Spar in Cortona is open until 1pm. All-in-all, an excellent villa & location."

"...Tuscany is a truly magical place. We drank copious amounts of cheap red wine. Our hosts have been amazing. Grazie Giancarlo and Theresa."

July 2011 "...We had a good time at the villa, i am glad we got a swimming pool so having to change villas was worth it! Roberto,s father was very kind in leaving us wine and letting us pick some of his veg. I think this is a good rental and in a good place for touring. The train station at Castiglion Fiorento had free parking and so was easy to get to Firenze. I would certainly recomend this villa. My Only criticism is the directions are out of date for the last bit as there is now a bridge over the Eurostar high speed rail line and a round about before the villa. All in all very nice! Regards David"

August 2008 "...We have had an absolutely fantastic holiday. The swimming pool is lovely as is the house and Giancarlo is extremely helpful. There is a lot to do in the area. Cortona is a beautiful town, great shops and restaurants. Arezzo and Siena are also well worth a visit and Assisi (although a bit further away) is well worth a visit. The local Spar is very friendly and has all the basics but there is also a larte Co-op in Foiano Della Chiana which is only a few miles away."

July 2009 "...I had a really good time, the pool was great and the weather was so hot. I really would like to come back again - Ellen Green aged 12. This was our second visit and it was even better than the first time. Giancarlo did everything to make us welcome and was so kind. This will not be our last visit. I knew the moment I got here that this was going to be an amazing holiday. I can't wait to come back. Joe Green aged 13. After 15 years of holidaying in Europe we have finally found a place we would come back to."

"...The perfect holiday immersed in beautiful Tuscan countryside. The house is more than well equipped (including a kettle) and is clean and very well maintained. Giancarlo (the caretaker) is very sweet and will sort out any problems you may have (although we did not have any). A good position to explore all the beautiful hilltop villages - Cortona is a must and also Castliglion Fiorentina. We had a lovely holiday and will be returning next year. Good value for money."

August 2010 "...This is the second year in a row we have visited Casa Brilli. We have been overwhelmed again by the generosity and hospitality shown by both of you. 'Il Pollo' was fantastic again and Giancarlo's harmonica playing was really entertaining. The boys have loved the wonderful garden and pool and all the fresh fruit and vegetables have gone down a treat as did the home made wine. Visits to Arezzo and Montepulciano were well worth the journey and the trip to watch Fiorentina play Paterno was a brilliant experience. We really appreciate everything you have done for us to make our stay so memorable and hope to see you both again soon."
